For nearly five decades, Ronald “Mr. I” Iwamoto inspired students at Chaminade with his passion for biology, dedication to teaching, and genuine care for his students. Even beyond the classroom, he remained a mentor, a guide, and a source of encouragement to so many.

Representing some of Chaminade’s earliest graduating classes—1961, 1962, and 1963—the Pioneer Alumni Group has been gathering since the early 2000s, proof that the Silversword connection truly lasts a lifetime. Though the group has grown smaller over time, their Chaminade pride and the bonds they share continue to bring them together.
