Are you eligible for increased benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill?
Changes to benefit levels effective August 1, 2020 increase the amount VA will cover for those with fewer months of service.

With this change, the 40% benefit level is eliminated, and the 60% benefit level is expanded under the Post-9/11 GI Bill program.

Check the GI Bill Comparison Tool to see what support may be available to you and learn more with this postcard:

Rental Troubles? Be proactive! The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all. Tenants, are you worried about paying your rent? Landlords, are you concerned about covering your costs? Need help to communicate your needs? We can help you talk it out.

Conversations about money are difficult to have. You don't need to figure this out alone. Our neutral third party mediators are ready to assist both landlords and tenants--to talk and listen, explore options, and find your own best solutions.

There are federal and state eviction moratoriums in place, at least for now. A moratorium on evictions does NOT stop rent or other bills, like utilities, from being owed.

Take action now to avoid problems later. Let our mediators help you have productive conversations to prevent misunderstandings, explore available options, and avert legal action.

Ready to get started? Call our Case Manager Charity Norem at (808) 935-7844 ext. 2 or email [email protected]

Hiring Our Heroes is honored to join Salesforce to offer paid virtual 12-week fellowships to veterans and military spouses who have begun or completed a Salesforce certification. Salesforce certifications provide a unique pathway to meaningful employment with in-demand skills and upward mobility to any veteran or military spouse, regardless of previous experience.

The Salesforce Fellowship Program is designed to give veterans and military spouses a competitive edge that can lead to new opportunities. Selected fellows are matched with participating companies based on the alignment of their certifications and skills with the companies’ needs. Fellows then undergo exclusive on-the-job training and networking at their host company, gaining practical experience as a Salesforce professional.

Applications are now being accepted for the Salesforce Fellowship Program at hiringourheroes.org/salesforce.
