After a hiatus, we are proud to say the Harvard Triathlon team is back! We are excited to race this fall and expand the club during this academic year. Here are some photos of team members competing in the Boston Triathlon and the Season Opener in May. We will post photos from the indoor triathlon in April soon as well. The fall NECTC racing season wrapped up this past weekend at the Zoot Westchester Triathlon in Rye, NY. Despite a chilly start to the race (the water was so much warmer than the air!), the team did phenomenally well. David Demres led the team with a stellar 2nd place to go along with his win from earlier this fall. Trevor Lutzow threw down a new personal best, and Kyle McElroy and Nakoa Farrant rounded out the men's team contingent, earning a team 5th place for the race.

The team 5th at Westchester also secured the men's team the 5th position overall for the entire season! This is our best finish yet (and came with the hardware to boot)! Thanks for a great fall season (and we hope to see you as we head back to a training schedule)!

All smiles after the Buzzard's Bay sprint tri this weekend, the penultimate event of the fall racing season.

Trevor Lutzow again had the top team finish, and with Kyle McElroy, Saim Raza, and Bruno Gallegos on the men's side, and team-first-timer Rose Traubert and triathlon-first-timer Allison Lipp on the women's side, grabbed the 7th overall team combined spot in a deep collegiate field. The day was marred only by the lack of BBQ sauce for the post-race pulled pork sandwiches.. Congrats all!

Trevor Lutzow led the way with a PR, followed closely by Kyle McElroy. A shoutout to Alex Springer, an MIT student, who traveled with the team this weekend and our racers who completed their first race with the team: Bruno Gallegos, Hannah Wexner, and Kelsey Curtis! Congratulations everyone!

Led by collegiate winner David Demres, we took 3rd in the men's team standings at Challenge Maine this weekend, just edging out Northeastern!
