The College of Arts & Humanities and the School of Christian Thought are proud to present the Houston Christian University C. S. Lewis Conference: Reason and Imagination. The conference is an interdisciplinary celebration of Lewis’s impact as a thinker, storyteller, apologist, and cultural critic, with speakers like Michael Ward, Louis Markos, Melissa Travis, among others. Looking across Lewis's large body of work, this conference promises to provide stimulating conversation and thoughtful reflection on one of Christianity's most influential writers and thinkers.
For those interested in presenting at the conference, please see the attached call for papers, or the conference webpage, for further details. Paper abstracts should be submitted by Aug. 18, 2025.
Registration is now open, with early-bird discounts through Sept. 1.
We hope you are able to join us!
