Philippians 4:6–7 provides a powerful antidote to worry. The verses instruct believers not to be anxious about anything, but instead to present every concern to God through prayer and petition. When done with a spirit of thanksgiving, God promises to replace anxiety with a profound, supernatural inner peace.

As you begin each day, remember no stress or worry. Regardless of the situation, everything will work out. We are too blessed to be stressed, have an awesome week! 💙💛🙏🏾

Our very own SoRHOr Dr. Tamira Pierson participated in the 2026 State Summer Games by Special Olympics Georgia held in Atlanta at Emory University from May 22 to May 24. The event featured over 2,000 athletes, coaches, and Unified Partners competing in athletics, swimming, gymnastics, flag football, soccer, table tennis, tennis, cheerleading, and volleyball. 💙💛

🌟 Sigma Sunday Scripture 🌟

Ephesians 5:18 commands believers to avoid being intoxicated by alcohol, which leads to reckless behavior, and instead be continually controlled and guided by the Holy Spirit. This Spirit-filled life naturally produces authentic worship, constant gratitude, and mutual submission to others.

💛 The Negative (Do not get drunk with wine): Paul warns against physical intoxication because it removes self-control, leading to "debauchery" or reckless living.

💙 The Positive (Be filled with the Spirit): The phrasing in the original Greek indicates an ongoing, continuous yielding to the Holy Spirit's influence—allowing God's presence to direct a person's thoughts and actions.
