💖Today our students took theatre where it belongs—into the community.
Under the leadership of Dr. Kate Jaskolski, we visited Morning Star Senior Living and shared Voices in Transit with the residents. No stage lights. No black box. Just people, stories, and presence.
And they delivered.
There was laughter. There were a few tears. And afterward—so many conversations, smiles, and moments that lingered.
What made me most proud was not just the performance, but the way our students carried themselves: generous with each other, responsive to the room, and fully present with the audience in front of them.
This is the kind of work that matters.
This is why we do theatre.
Proud of this group—and grateful for Dr. Jaskolski’s leadership.
