Located in the Student Center North the Center for Student Involvement provides services for Registered Student Organizations, offers advising and training for students leading organizations, connects students with opportunities to be involved on campus, and supports many major student organizations at the University of Houston. There are more than 400+ student organizations at the University of H
ouston. There are organizations based on campus traditions, student interests and hobbies, social fraternities and sororities, honors organizations, and major academic focused organizations. There is something for everyone, and if you don't find an organization that fits your needs, start one. Our major student organizations, called Fee Funded Organizations, are housed in the Student Center North Carrel Space Area on Program Row. These organizations receive their funding through student activities fee dollars, and they program and provide services for the UH students, including our major campus traditions. CSI provides a place where students can register on-campus events, register their organization, attend an organization orientation, update their organizational information, and receive mail on campus. Limited carrel and office spaces are available for organizations. CSI is a member of the Student Centers family.
