HDSA unites those interested in a career in human services such as psychology, sociology, health, education, social work, and particularly those pursuing Human Development and Family Studies Degrees. Good Morning Coogs!

I hope the end of the semester is treating you well. I just wanted to take a minute to say congratulations to all of our members that are graduating! A special congratulations to the four officers (including myself) and three members who will wearing HDSA cords as they walk across the stage.
It has been my honor to be your president this year and I wish you all luck in whatever it is that you have planned :)

Good morning HDSA members!

Hope that everyone is having a great Friday. We have two health fair events coming up this month that can help you receive event points. We have teamed up with the UH- BOUNCE Program to provide our support and assistance. During the events below, volunteers will engage in various tasks such as speaking to parents/families on health and the programs we offer, taking pictures, handing out flyers, etc. If you are interested, please comment below so we can send you out a volunteer form. Good evening Coogs! We hope that everyone is having a successful and productive semester. As you may know, the spring semester is coming to a close. We still have events lined up for you all this month!

April 9th and April 16th, HDSA will be teaming up with The BOUNCE Program. BOUNCE will be a vendor at two health fairs with the Houston Food Bank located at two different schools around the city of Houston.

Both events will be posted here tomorrow. Stay on the look out!

Good morning HDSA members!!!

Just a friendly reminder about our canned food drive. We are a week away from the last day for the drive. If you have not done so, please drop off 3 canned goods in the box located in the Undergraduate office on the first floor of Farish Hall.

Also, if there is anyone who would like to volunteer for the Retired teacher's association Health Fair Event with the BOUNCE Program, please turn in your applications. If you would like to receive one, please comment below. The health fair will take place on March 31st at 1p-3p.

Good Morning coogs and Happy Friday!! As Spring Break becomes closer, we would like to keep you posted with upcoming events that we have before and after spring break.

- Canned Food Drive: Our canned food drive is an on going event. 3 cans equal participation in this event. The box for donation can be located in the undergrad office.

- Superhero Heart Run: Our Superhero Heart run will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Cullen Park, 7am-1pm. If you are able to participate, please come out and show your support. You can find more details at the link provided below.

- Houston Harris County Retired Teachers Association - We have teamed up with the COE- BOUNCE Program for a health fair event that will take place Thursday, March 31st. We are in need of a few volunteers to help out.If you would like to volunteer at this event, please notify us. Further details for this event will be provided below.
