Twice in the last few weeks, someone has said they cannot stand when another person is overly positive. Though I understand why this may bother some people, it still makes me a bit sad honestly. I actually admire people who can, despite how they feel inside, manage to project optimism. My mom was like this even during her third time with cancer. Many of the things we choose to be pessimistic or negative about are actually not even worth the emotional energy expended. There is no shortage of things that we can direct negative energy to these days. How do you want to spend your precious time?
