Today's meeting was a chilled one. Thanks to Neil, We learned how to play a new game called Go. We played a few matches learned a few strategies. We also played some old middle school and high-school games like spoons and speed. We even got to testrun a member self created game called "Back scratch"

To quote Dennis, "go is like topology. Its a bunch of open sets"

Speed and spoons was a good exercise of reaction time and pattern recognition.

Join us next Friday for more math and ghost in shell!!!!

In case you missed it!!

Today’s meeting was learning Poker for casino night. Neil showed us how to play Texas Hold'em and Omaha (Which the links will be found below). After a few wins and losses, we discussed the probability of drawing a pair.

The question is

What is the probability of drawing a pair as the nth of the e player, dealt two cards each? Assume all desired cards have NOT been dealt to other.

Next week

We will try to answer this question and learn and other possible Casino Night game, Blackjack and Dominoes.
