Hi BLN Community!
The UH Student Center of Advocacy and Community is hosting Juneteenth Celebration events on today June 14th and June 18th at the UH Student Center North 2nd Floor.

We would especially like for you to join us on June 18th after work 4:30 – 6:00pm for Juneteenth Trivia & Social hosted by The BLACK LEADERSHIP NETWORK.

We are planning an afternoon of Juneteenth celebrations and fun including music, Juneteenth trivia and bingo games, giveaways, prizes and light refreshments and drinks.

Mostly we just want to see you there to meet and socialize in commemoration of Juneteenth Freedom Day!

Good afternoon BLN!

It has been some time since our last post.
Many are aware the BLN paused on-campus operations this past year due to the recent state SB17/DEI legislation and university compliance. With that said the BLN organizational may no longer host activities or continue usage of university resource platforms.

However, BLN is in operation and will continue to support faculty, staff and students. We just need to collaborate differently; which are the processes that we are currently working on.

We would love to here from the BLN community. Any suggestions or recommendations are very welcome.
