C-GCC was recently ranked in the top four percent of community colleges in the U.S. by WalletHub.com, using data collected from the National Center for Education Statistics, Council for Community and Economic Research, and College Measures. The campus is situated near the banks of the Hudson River bordered on the west by the Catskill Mountains and to the east by the Taconic and Berkshire Hills. Students can enjoy the benefits of a rural campus while taking advantage of cultural opportunities in nearby Albany, the Berkshires, and New York City. to 10:30 p.m. Weekends: (Saturday and Sunday) 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thinking about starting or finishing your degree? SUNY Reconnect could make it possible — with tuition, fees, books and supplies covered for eligible New Yorkers ages 25–55 pursuing an associate degree in a high-demand field.

Our SUNY Reconnect Enrollment Navigator, Erica Nance, has been out in the community helping adults learn more about the program. She recently spoke with Chronogram's Brian K. Mahoney about what SUNY Reconnect means for adults who may have put college on hold — and how they can get started.
