Marshall University Center for African American Students The CAAS provides a pleasant and centrally located office setting where students may relax, study, debate, and connect with others.

The Center for African American Students (CAAS) is committed to engendering the highest level of academic success for all African and African American students. At Marshall University we have high expectations, but also provide the guidance and supports necessary for our students to maximize their academic potental and to prepare them to live and work productively in a multicultural society. Every

one is welcome...and soon realize that The Center is a "home away from home". While The CAAS is designed to offer a variety of programs and social experiences each academic year, we are staffed to provide interventions through confidential and highly personalized assistance necessary to optimize personal and academic success.
