Can’t let this day pass without wishing our own Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and instructor a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Happy birthday Amanda!!! You make us all smile every day!!! She was treated to a decorated room, fresh flowers from Deb’s garden, and fancy donuts!!!🍩

All 10 of us made it back safe and sound, just a little tired;) This mission trip was life changing, seeing how God can use us. The people of Guatemala were so appreciative and warm, it was wonderful to see a bit of their culture. So thankful for this opportunity! We currently have 535 photos in a shared album, here are just a handful of ones from the end of our trip.

We are starting our 2nd day of fitting those in need with wheelchairs and other mobility devices.

Another one of the Baccalaureate presentations was Darah and Rowena who presented via Zoom from 2 different places in the US to OTs in Bulgaria and Rwanda! Their title was “Advocating for children with disabilities in international countries with an emphasis on Bulgaria and Rwanda.” HU OTA program is worldwide!!! Great job!

Senior OTA student, Julia Hammel, presented her baccalaureate project at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Churubusco. Her research project focused on how to make Chatecisis and Sunday School accessible to those with intellectual disabilities. Great job, Julia!
