Beta Gamma Sigma - Marshall University Chapter BGS is the only honor society in the LCOB that is open to students in all programs and majors. Membership is by invitation only, based on class rank.

It is the official honor society of the AACSB–the premier business school accrediting body in the world Beta Gama Sigma is the official academic honor society of the AACSB. This club is open to all majors and faculty, but is by invitation only. To qualify you must be: 1) top 7% of all LCOB juniors who have declared a major, 2) top 10% of the current LCOB senior class, 3) top 10% of BBA graduates f

rom the previous December, 4) top 20% of students in each individual LCOB master’s-level program, or 5) complete a LCOB doctoral-level program.

BGS & SCPT are teaming up again with Beta Alpha Psi for a book drive benefiting Branches Domestic Violence Shelter 💜

All week, we’re collecting books with a goal of 100!

Join us Thursday at 5 PM in SBUS 112 for a speaker & to make handmade bookmarks to include with the donations 😊

Can’t make it? Drop books in the crate at the door outside the professor offices on the 2nd floor of SBUS.

Recently, BGS and SCPT helped coordinate an amazing event alongside Beta Alpha Psi and Austin’s Ice Cream!🍦

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Read Aloud West Virginia at Central City Elementary! 📚

Our Beta Gamma Sigma & Student Center of Public Trust officers loved spending time reading with students and helping each child pick out a brand new book to take home.
