After a heart-throbbing attempt to see the growth of another fraternity on the campus, the chapter ceased to become noted by the campus community. However, ten years later, three young men, Bro. Donald Jones, Bro, J.T. Lawson, and Bro. Reggious Bell decided to embark on a journey to resurrect a chapter that had once been counted out. With the help of Bro. Curtis Helton the following year, the Alph
a Sigma Alpha Chapter was formally recognized on the campus of UAHuntsville. Since then, the chapter has received numerous awards, including the "Highest Chapter GPA" award in 2009 and many growth and reporting recognition on the State, Regional and even National level.
