SHSU English Language Institute We understand the variety of English learning goals our students have and we make every effort to help them achieve these goals.

The English Language Institute (ELI) of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, is a part of the Office of International Programs, whose goal is to help students from around the world achieve their academic and professional objectives. To that end, the ELI provides an effective learning program where international students can improve their English communication skills in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Our students are important to us and we care about them and their needs.
