SHSU Sport Management would like to thank the 897 Bearkats that came out for SHSU Night with the Rockets last night! It was the second largest group for the Rockets this year!

It was also a great night to recognize one of our own (Derek Beeman) with the 2022 Industry Impact Award! In addition to his roles as VP of Ticket Sales and Business Insights for the Houston Texans, Professor Beeman teaches the Revenue Generation in Sport class that helped execute the event. He has been an invaluable addition to the program since joining us in 2016 as a faculty member. Congratulations Professor Beeman - well deserved!

Many thanks also to President White, Coach Keeler, & VP Parker for being part of a great evening! We look forward to seeing you all again next year. More pics to come soon!
