Parent & Family Relations provides both parents and supporters of students the ability to connect, partner, and contribute to student success. Parents and supporters receive tips, tools, and dedicated one-on-one assistance from our staff to support their student’s navigation through the college experience. Families are able to connect with their student and the SHSU community, through experiences like Bearkat Family Weekend, Apple Days, the SHSU Parents’ Association and social media.

💭 Parents, we’re here to answer all of your residence life questions. Parent Office Hours is a NEW series put on by the Office of Student & Family Experience designed to partner with campus departments to create a flexible way to get your questions answered in real time.

💻 ALL Parents’ Association members (both general membership and paid tiers) are welcome to join us this Wednesday, April 8 from 3 PM - 6 PM. If you are not yet a PA member and would like to participate, just click the link in our bio to sign up for CampusESP! There you will find the Zoom link and password for the event.

🏠 If you are a paid tier member of the Parents’ Association (White, Orange, or Bearkat tier), you have an EXCLUSIVE extra day to join us this Thursday, April 9 instead. The Zoom link and password for the last office hours seminar is posted on CampusESP.
