Hey KIDS! If you have an interest in cooking and specifically grilling and would be interested in being on the 4-H Grill Master Team, let Mrs. Anna know by June 11. Our first meeting is on June 15, and practices will be in July leading up to the contest in August. The cost will purchase meat. Call the Extension Office if you have questions and/or to let Mrs. Anna know you are interested.

Join us for a hands-on Cowboy Candy class where we’ll learn how to safely make and preserve candied jalapeños using the water bath canning method. Whether you’re new to canning or already love preserving food at home, this class is a fun way to try something a little different.
Together, we’ll walk through the canning process step-by-step so you’ll leave with more confidence in the kitchen — and a jar of cowboy candy to take home!

We are so excited to expand on our Shooting Sports program this fall! In addition to our current Archery program, we will now be offering a BB Gun / Intro to Shooting Sports Program. This is designed for youth who have limited or no experience in the area and will help form a strong foundation in safe handling and procedure.

If you are interested, please give our office a call at (423) 663-4777 so we can get numbers and start working on schedules.
