Values and Standards
Kappa Sigma is focused upon the Four Pillars of FELLOWSHIP, LEADERSHIP, SCHOLARSHIP and SERVICE. As a values-based men's fraternity, Kappa Sigma strictly forbids hazing and fosters meaningful college experiences by offering progressive membership development and pledge education. Programs and Awards
Kappa Sigma's three primary initiatives -- CHAMPION QUEST, BROTHERS IN ACTION
and A GREATER CAUSE -- have led to new heights in recruitment, membership development and community service. The Fraternity has developed outstanding programs in alcohol and drug education (My Brother's Keeper), and recognizes excellence among its members through individual, chapter and alumnus awards each year. Scholarships
KAPPA SIGMA ENDOWMENT FUND awards more than $250,000 in Scholarship-Leadership Awards each year to qualified undergraduate members who excel in the classroom, on campus, in the community and within the Fraternity. Since 1948, the Endowment Fund has awarded more the $3.5 million to thousands of deserving Brothers. Alumni Involvement
Kappa Sigma has more than 100 alumni chapters and 175,000 living alumni throughout North America who support our undergraduate chapters. The organization's alumni involvement is unmatched in the fraternal world, with more than 1,200 appointed volunteer alumni advisors. Headquarters
In 2007, Kappa Sigma Fraternity opened the largest International Headquarters in the fraternal world, very near Monticello, the home of the third U.S. President, Thomas Jefferson, and the University of Virginia campus.
