SHSU Sigma Alpha

SHSU Sigma Alpha Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority that promotes scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship among its members.

The objective of Sigma Alpha shall be to promote its members in all facets of agriculture and to strengthen the bonds of friendship among them. It is the purpose of the members to strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service, and to further the development of excellence in women pursuing careers in agriculture.

⚡️BETA PI’s IN ACTION ⚡️
This weekend, our sisters showed up and showed out in the best way, serving, leading, and making a lasting impact in our communities.

🪩 Emma Smith dedicated her Friday and Saturday to judging the District 9 public speaking state qualifying contests alongside sister, Emme Dallmeyer, helping recognize and encourage the next generation of confident, driven leaders.

🪩 At the same time, another group of our sisters spent the day volunteering at the Montgomery County Freezer Sale. From running concessions to jumping in wherever needed and helping kids get their animals sorted into pens, they brought energy, teamwork, and a willingness to serve that did not go unnoticed.

We are beyond proud of the way our sisters continue to show to lead with purpose, serve with heart, and represent our chapter with excellence in everything they do. The pride we have in this group is unmatched, and their dedication to giving back is something truly special!

Beta Pi has been busy lately and we love to see it! ✨

Our sisters spent Saturday morning volunteering at the Pineapple Run with the Peyton Irwin Foundation, helping educate our community on the dangers of distracted driving. Meanwhile, Meadow Cash competed in the Piper Faust Memorial Barrel Race last weekend, running a 17.003 and placing at the top of the 3D! Way to go, Meadow & Jazzy!!

On Tuesday Walker County Fair put on a barrel race and our Sister Maya and her horse Loca ran after being off for a few months due to injury! Our girls ran a 19.8 putting them in 2nd place in the 5D! 🥈
