What started as something I never expected for myself has become one of the biggest blessings of my college experience. “Hi! I’m Emerson, and I serve as Vice President of Learning and Development for Kappa Delta!

In this role, I have the privilege of welcoming our new members and being their guide through the beginning of their KD experience. I get to be there to answer questions, share important information, and make sure they feel supported, appreciated, and excited as they begin this new chapter.

This role means so much to me because my own new member experience showed me how special it is to feel welcomed, supported, and appreciated. KD gave me a sense of belonging that I had never felt before, and that is something I am so grateful to be able to pay forward in this role.

Member Class ’26, I cannot wait to meet you, support you, and have a front row seat as you begin such a meaningful season in KD. I am so grateful to be a part of your story and to pour into the chapter that has poured so much into me.“
