CMIT held an outstanding Courtroom Security program on May 27, 2026 in Huntsville, TX. Our speakers, Keith Conley and Nick Barsetti, traveled from the Office of Court Security in Austin to present an informative and engaging course covering all aspects of courtroom security, as well as courthouse security in general. Mr. Conley is a retired U.S. Marshal, and Mr. Barsetti has extensive training and experience in courtroom security.

It had been 10 years since CMIT last offered this course, and it was very well received. Participants gave rave reviews of the presentation, and we hope to make this program an annual offering.
