We hope you can join us tomorrow evening at 7 pm for "A Symphony of Senses," which features an art exhibition by HutchCC students followed by performances from the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir! Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and HutchCC students enter free with student ID. We hope to see you there!

Monday, March 9th is almost here, and what better way to kick off the last week of classes before spring break with some incredible live music?! Come hear the HutchCC Symphonic Band under the direction of Eric Stambaugh and the Concert Choir under the direction of Judson Lee as we head into the midpoint of the semester and season. The Symphonic Band will be performing some picturesque pieces with a cinematic feel, and the choir will be partnering with the Salt City Orchestra and members of the band to perform Elaine Hagenberg's masterwork "Illuminare." We look forward to seeing you on Monday, March 9th at 7 p.m.!

We hope you got to see The 51st Annual Bryce Luty Jazz Festival Concert! But, if you didn't, here are some highlights! The sets featured were soulful, energetic, groovy, and inviting. The audience wasn't left disappointed! Such a great opportunity for our students to work with these amazing artists!

Our Concert Choir uses warm up time each day to work on vocal and musical techniques in preparation for rehearsal, and once in a while we use a little excerpt of a song to close out this crucial portion of our rehearsal process. Here's a little snippet taken from the song "Stomp on the Fire" by composer Andrea Ramsey.
