Black lives have not mattered to this nation for entirely way too long. It is true that enough is enough. Alpha Phi Omega’s National President, Robert M. Coop, P.E. said in a statement earlier this week, “No one should ever have to live in fear. No one. We condemn and denounce racism, brutality, hate, violence, and bigotry as we call for all of Alpha Phi Omega to stand with our black community members in the battle against inequality and systemic racism.”

Tau Omicron chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement and members of the Black community. “As one of the world’s largest Greek-letter organizations, Alpha Phi Omega can also do more to better educate and empower college students on being stronger, more inclusive community leaders.” Stated by Alpha Phi Omega National President.

Please view our Instagram story to see ways to get involved, educate yourselves, and contribute to making this movement more than a hashtag. BLACK LIVES MATTER. TODAY. TOMORROW. AND EVERYDAY AFTER THAT.

In sympathy, we reach out to those who grieve. Our hearts are with you and his family in this difficult time.
