Four years ago, Nerea Lancho was looking not just for a place where she could pursue one of the top business educations in the world, but also keep her passion for golf alive. At IU Indianapolis she found her home "[I was able to] achieve all my academic goals while competing at one of the highest athletic levels."
Graduating with a Kelley School of Business Finance and International Studies co-major, the Madrid native golfed in her final collegiate tournament last month.
Thinking about IU Indianapolis? As an international student, here's Nerea's advice: "Beginnings are always hard, moving away from your home country and being here completely alone and surrounded by a different culture is a big adjustment... Once you begin making friends and having fun, it will be much easier, and your time here will be one of the memories that you will forever cherish."
