“We get to read the story of this city in a unique way.” 🏙️📜

IUI Herron School of Art + Design alum Jordan Ryan and anthropology professor Jeremy Wilson are helping uncover and preserve Indianapolis’ early history through the Greenlawn Memorial Bridge archaeology project.

Alongside more than 50 students ands researchers, their work is bringing the city’s past into clearer focus and ensuring the people who shaped Indianapolis are remembered with dignity.

Researchers at the Indiana University School of Medicine are exploring new avenues in the fight against Parkinson’s disease, a neurodegenerative disorder that affects over 1.1 million Americans.

Led by Malú Gámez Tansey, James A. Caplin, M.D., Professor of Alzheimer’s Research and professor of neurology at the IU School of Medicine, the university recently joined an international network of Parkinson’s research groups through a $9 million award from Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s, in partnership with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
