Student Design Organization The Student Design Organization at IUPUI is dedicated to serving the students of the Interior Design department in the School of Technology.

This page communicates events and news that affects these students. The Student Design Organization helps Interior Design Technology students succeed in the Associate and Bachelor degree programs at IUPUI and better prepares students to be successful after graduation. This is accomplished by creating opportunities for students to network with professionals and by offering enrichment activities that prepare them for their future careers.

The 2026 SDO Show was a day full of connection, conversation, and celebration.

From students sharing their work, to firms engaging with future designers, to recognizing outstanding projects through our awards and charrette, this event truly reflected the strength of our design community at Purdue University Indianapolis.

We are so proud of our students, grateful for the professionals who showed up to support them, and thankful for everyone who helped make the day such a success. So much work happened behind the scenes, and we’re especially grateful for the 2026 SDO Board who helped bring it all together.

Because of your support, this year’s show was filled with connection, creativity, and real opportunities for our designers. Seeing students engage with firms, ask questions, and share their work is exactly why this event matters.
