What started as a weather delay turned into an opportunity for learning, reflection, and community. Yesterday, the group visited the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and toured the new IU Capital Campus in D.C. before continuing our journey.

Special thanks to Dean Tambra O. Jackson for making the connection, and to IU Capital Campus and Don DeMaria for the warm hospitality and support.

Today, they fly out to Ghana ✈️🇬🇭

The IU Indianapolis School of Education will host Centering Inclusive Education in Ghana, led by Dr. Tina O’Neal. This in-person public talk and collaborative roundtable will bring together faculty from Indiana University Indianapolis and the University of Ghana (Legon), along with educators and community partners dedicated to inclusive education and disability services. The event will be recorded and will take place on May 29 at 11:00 AM at the IU Ghana Global Gateway Center, GAAS.
