Fannie Charles Dillon was influential in who she taught, where she taught, and what she taught. It was not yet common at her time for women to be composers, much less to found theaters. Her legacy, however, is obvious.

💡Recruitment Tip Incoming💡

When we are initiated into Delta Omicron, it is for life. And as such, we want you to continue to be involved long after you graduate from college. We have many alumni chapters and clubs that would love to have your membership. If there isn't one nearby, let's get a group together and get a new chapter started - we have new chapters and clubs starting every year!

Applications for the Foundation grants are due this upcoming Sunday, May 31st!

The Delta Omicron Foundation Educational Grants are available for the 2026-27 academic year. The grants are for music study to both undergraduate and graduate students to be applied to tuition to the school of the applicant’s choice. The grants are available for a wide range of music degree areas including performance, music education, composition, music therapy. Applicants must be a current D. O. in good standing with the D.O. Fraternity (i.e., 2025-26 academic year dues paid).

The deadline for submission application if May 31st, 2026.

Applications and submission instruction may be found online at www.dofoundation.org.

📣 Application Forms for Delta Omicron Foundation Educational Grants are now available 📣

Each year the Delta Omicron Foundation, Inc. awards grants to students who are pursuing the study of music. The grants may be used for coursework tuition during the academic school year at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The application process for grants is currently open and will close on May 31st. Interested Delta Omicron members should complete an application form and submit a vita or resume and a letter of recommendation from a music faculty member for grant eligibility. Application forms and information on how to submit the application materials may be found on the Delta Omicron Foundation website www.dofoundation.org.
