This morning we lost one of the greatest Minds of the 21st century My teacher, my confidant, my mentor, my pastor, my friend Bishop Willie Duncan senior. just like Johnny James, Bishop Haywood, he was one of a kind, a few of the kind of men that God allows to live in our time. I was so fortunate to be under his teaching, i was still learning from him, and conferencing with him even until this day. I learned with Bishop it doesn't matter how many degrees you have ,you never stop learning. And as great as his mind was, he still would be the first student to the class, it was amazing to me this man of God how humble he was with the knowledge that God had given him. Whenever I needed an answer he would always pick up the phone and answer my call. with tears in my eyes he will be greatly missed he was much more than just my teacher he was a spiritual father my friend who truly had an answer for every man there no words to describe this loss we have truly lost a giant in the Gospel world. Bishop talked about heaven many times. the length, the heights, the width, the colors, the sounds, that eye haven't seen, and ear haven't heard, that has not entered into the hearts of men. now he can witness it for himself. When Jesus said come unto me all ye that labor. and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. he was talking about Bishop Duncan. Hebrews 4:10 for he that has entered into his rest, he also have ceased from his own works as God did from his. Bishop is now enjoying his eternal rest now he belongs to the ages because what he did for Christ will last and he's truly left an inheritance, and a legacy of the Gospel to this world. To one of the greatest teachers of all time, rest in peace Bishop Willie J Duncan senior.
