Summer may be winding down, but we’re ending it on a high note! ☀️ From the Greek Festival, to our first annual Research Retreat at Dr. Bahler’s house, to our annual program picnic, we’ve loved making the most of the season together.

To our chief residents—Jason Zappia, Chris Ferari, and Ethan Brinkman—thank you for your leadership, friendship, unwavering commitment to patients, and for making residency both meaningful and fun. Dr. Kaefer recently traveled to Kenya as the only pediatric urologist on site, teaching local professors and residents advanced techniques and surgical principles for hypospadias repair. Beyond the OR, the trip had some unforgettable moments!! Including time in the field with colleagues Drs. Kenneth, Powell and Song as well as breathtaking views of Kenya!
