Delta Chi Region VI Delta Chi is a Fraternity started in 1890. As of June 15th, 2025 Region VI has now merged into the Mid-West Region of Delta Chi.

The Delta Chi Fraternity is excited to officially announce it will be rejoining the fraternity and sorority community at Michigan State during the fall 2025 semester. The Delta Chi Michigan State Chapter () was originally founded in 1935 and has initiated over 2,150 members.

The Michigan State fraternity and sorority community is made up of 56 chapters across four councils. The IFC is made up of 28 chapters with an average chapter size of 83 members (fall 2024).

Alex Hart, Director of Growth states, “Michigan State is home to a fantastic fraternity and sorority community that offers an ideal opportunity for Delta Chi to grow and enhance the student experience for more men on campus. With decades of history on campus, we look forward to expanding this fall as Delta Chi officially returns to Michigan State.” The expansion project at Michigan State will begin this fall as Delta Chi staff will arrive on campus as classes begin.

The Delta Chi Fraternity is excited to officially announce it will be rebuilding the Ohio State Chapter and reengaging the fraternity and sorority community at The Ohio State during the fall 2025 semester. The Delta Chi Ohio State Chapter () was originally founded in 1902 and has initiated over 1,500 members.

The Ohio State sorority and fraternity community is made up of 64 chapters across four councils. The IFC is made up of 26 chapters with an average chapter size of 62 members (spring 2025).

Alex Hart, Director of Growth states, “For a while now, I have seen Ohio State as a real opportunity for Delta Chi to have a large, sustainable chapter that thrives in that community. Though unfortunate in many ways, a complete restart gives us the opportunity to rebuild the chapter with a strong foundation that will prepare Delta Chi for years of success at Ohio State. With great resources in the campus Sorority and Fraternity Life staff, and involved and engaged alumni, I believe Delta Chi is well-positioned for a strong and successful return.” Delta Chi will utilize a hybrid model to rebuild the chapter during both the fall of 2025 and the spring of 2026, with staff anticipated to arrive on campus in October.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Brother Jason Butler, Central Missouri ‘99.
Jason was a dedicated Delta Chi who served our Fraternity as a Leadership Consultant, Director of Chapter Services, Board of Regents member, and Delta Chi Foundation Board member. His impact extended beyond Delta Chi, shaping the fraternal community through his leadership at Pennington & Co., FarmHouse Foundation, and the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and brothers during this difficult time. His legacy of service and brotherhood will not be forgotten. ❤️
