MDCC's Capps Technology Center Mississippi Delta Community College's (MDCC) Charles W. Capps, Jr. Technology Center is located in Indianola, Mississippi on U.S. Highway 82.

The Capps Technology Center houses the Workforce Education Division of MDCC and is strategically located at the geographical center of the seven-county service area of MDCC. For economic development, the Capps Technology Center is a local forum and resource for all local industrial development groups to meet and promote regional economic development. Our primary purpose is to focus on the training

, education, and skills improvement needs of business and industry. The Capps Technology Center offers short-term classes, customized training solutions for business and industry, nationally recognized certifications, and job readiness training for those entering the work force.

Interested in obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License? The 1st step is to obtain your Class A Permit and we can assist. With our Permit Prep Class, we’ll give you the information you need to help you pass with confidence.

Registration Date: May 13th at 10:00a.m.
Cost: $125 Cash or Money Order Only
Permit Prep Class begins: May 18th – May 21st

🎓 Congratulations to our Spring 2026 Workforce graduates!

Mississippi Delta Community College recently recognized more than 140 graduates from workforce training programs at the Capps Center Graduation Ceremony. These students are now prepared to enter high-demand careers in healthcare, transportation, construction, aviation, utilities and skilled trades.

From welding and commercial truck driving to pharmacy technology and aviation maintenance, these graduates are helping build the future workforce of the Mississippi Delta.
