Alpha Tau Omega - Beta Alpha Chapter

This is the official page for the men of the Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Tau Omega. Alpha Tau Omega is known as America's Leadership Fraternity.

Alpha Tau Omega was founded in 1865 at Virginia Military Institute (1865), and the Beta Alpha chapter was founded at Simpson in 1885. After the Civil War many families were torn apart because there were brother that had fought on opposite sides of the war and Alpha Tau Omega was meant to reunite the two sides. The three founders of Alpha Tau Omega are Otis Allen Glazebrook, Alfred Marshall, and Er

skine Mayo Ross. Alpha Tau Omega is the longest living fraternity west of the Mississippi River. Alpha Tau Omega was the first fraternity founded on Christian values. There are many leadership events for members to attend like Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC), LeaderShape, Altitude, and many more. Alpha Tau Omega currently has over 140 active chapters with more colonizing each year. There are currently more than 200,000 initiates. The headquarter of the national fraternity are in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Giving back in the cold. We were able to help out at We Lift, setting up cots for those who need a warm place to stay during the freeze. Thanks to the brothers who made it happen.

The Beta Alpha Chapter is proud to congratulate our newly elected officers! Please join us in welcoming our 2026 President-elect Connor Slack, and Vice President-elect Braxton Davis. We’re excited to see the leadership and fresh perspective they’ll bring to the chapter.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our outgoing executive board, led by President Brady Siders and Vice President Cole Hamilton. Your efforts have strengthened our brotherhood and set the foundation for continued success. We look forward to seeing next year’s board carry on the tradition of a true merit-based operation!
