We offer more than than 50 degree and certificate options – including A.A., A.F.A., A.S., A.A.S. and numerous certificates – that prepare students for employment upon graduation or permit them to continue their education through transfer to a four-year institution. architecture and separate buildings, our 90-acre campus has a small-college look and feel, with nine modern buildings designed to fit naturally into the surrounding wooded hills and wetlands. The campus is located just off Highway 52 at 80th Street in Inver Grove Heights. If paying for college feels stressful, this is for you.

Fall 2026 scholarships are now open for Inver Hills students, including transfer‑bound students, working adults, and students returning to school after time away.

Many students think they will not qualify, but most do.
Here is what you should know:

- More than 100 scholarships are available
- Most awards are between $500 and $1,000
- No FAFSA is required to apply
- Open to both part‑time and full‑time students
- PSEO students are not eligible

The application deadline is Thursday, June 25 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

Scholarships can support tuition as well as books, supplies, and other education‑related expenses. Whether you are starting fresh or preparing to transfer, this is support meant to help you continue.

Earn your entire A.A. degree without buying textbooks!

Inver Hills Community College is dedicated to creating a transformational education for every student founded on belonging, learning, support, clear pathways, and community engagement. The college’s Z-degree pathway supports this vision by lowering the cost of your college education.

The Z-degree pathway lets you complete an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree taking courses that exclusively use zero-cost learning materials such as Open Educational Resources (OER), open textbooks, and library-curated materials. You’ll have more money in your pocket and access to learning materials on day one of class.

Any Inver Hills student can take Z-degree classes. No extra enrollment or sign up is required. You can register just like you would for any course. Just search for Z-degree classes in e-Services.

Inver Hills welcomed Saint Paul students for a day designed to help them start thinking about who they want to become. With support from our Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging, students explored programs, asked questions, and imagined their next steps.

The Inver Hills Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging, along with supporting faculty and staff, hosted South Saint Paul’s entire 8th-grade class with an aim to help them see, believe, and prepare for their future. This early exposure to college options motivated and inspired students to work hard as they enter high school by getting them to start thinking of their career goals and academic pathways.
