Walk It Out: Around the World UIowa's one and only multicultural fashion show on campus. Celebrating a variety of identities to encourage inclusion and acceptance at the University!

Walk It Out: Around the world is a student org that celebrates the University of Iowa's various cultures. Our fashion show on April 7, 2018 will showcase 7 different identities; Africa, Latin America, East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, LGBTQA and Hip Hop. Walk It Out donates a portion of our proceeds to UIHC HIV/ AIDS Clinics, as part of the United Nations Millennium goal. Come when the doors ope

ARE YOU READY TO FEEL THE PULSE? 💓

Hello everyone! The event of the year is finally here! Walk It Out is excited to present “PULSE: The Heartbeat of Culture,” a multicultural showcase highlighting our diverse artistry on campus. Join us on Saturday April 11th in the IMU Main Lounge. Doors will open at 6:30 PM and the show begins at 7PM!

University of Iowa students will have free attendance with the presence of their IowaOne card, $10 for general admission, $20 for VIP tickets, and $25 for VIP+! (VIP will receive a special WIO pin)!…Link in bio for more information on VIP options.

This year’s theme is a declaration that WE are present, resilient, and alive on campus. With every move, every outfit, and every beat, this show celebrates the cultures that shape us, and the pulse that unites us. We are the vibrant heartbeat that extends beyond our fashion, dance, and artistry, reverberating through our community. We are here. We are one. We are Walk It Out ✨

We had our SECOND Workshop last week, and it was just as good as our first!

WIO Latin’s Group Leaders did a phenomenal job teaching Corazón Sin Cara from their setlist, and we’re so proud to have them as part of our executive team.

The participants also gave it their all, and we’re so excited to see the unique spark that each of them will bring to our 2026 show!
