Yesterday we celebrated our annual Reaffirmation Ceremony and pinning with the DPT Class of 2026. The newly promoted DPT3's have completed their on campus didactic studies and now embark on their three Terminal Clinical Education experiences. We wish them the very best!

Today we held the Gary Soderberg and Loretta Knutson Research Day Lectureship with an engaging presentation from PTRS alum Sangeetha Madhaven, PT, PhD. Poster presentations from DPT2 students followed.

PTRS faculty member Dr. Kathleen Sluka and her team continue to contribute valuable insight on management of movement pain and fatigue in patients with fibromyalgia.

Adding TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) to outpatient physical therapy reduced movement-based pain and fatigue in patients with fibromyalgia, and the effects lasted for at least six months, according to a new study led by researchers at University of Iowa Health Care. The study,
