Congrats to Kappa Sigma Beta-Rho for welcoming 51 new pledges this fall! This is a 50% increase for the Chapter, and the largest pledge class since they were re-colonized in 2012.

Brother Danny Aeschliman leaves next Tuesday for Memphis, TN to begin his run for the kids of St. Jude Children's Hospital. St. Jude's is a nonprofit organization dedicated to housing and treating children with cancer, and they hope to find a cure to end childhood cancer. Parents never receive a bill while staying at St. Jude's.

Runners will be running from Memphis, TN all the way to Peoria, IL... a total of 465 miles! They hope to break the organization's record of fundraising over $4.55 million for St. Jude. Danny raised $3,300 last summer and is hoping to donate even more this year. Currently, Brother Aeschliman has raised just over $2,500 between online and mail in donations.

What if I told you... A group of Kappa Sig's, down 2 players, down by 5 runs, down to their last strike, made an unfathomable comeback to win an intramural softball game 15-14 and send their seniors out on a high note.

What a game! Thank you seniors: Steve Moioffer, Zach Desmond, Jaxson Meister, and Colton Brunk for your contributions and leadership tonight and to the other seniors who were unable to attend.

Today marks the 2 year anniversary of the re-chartering of the Beta-Rho chapter at the University of Iowa. Tremendous strides have been made during that time, and we look forward to continued success.

We would like to thank all past and present leaders for their guidance and hard work. We would also like to thank our families and Kappa Sigma brothers across the country for their support! While we celebrate the successes of the previous 2 years, we look forward to providing a top notch collegiate experience to the young men joining during the next 2 years as well.

Hello everyone! Kappa Sigma will be working with Kids Around the World for the third year in a row to help raise money for kids in need. After we have reached our goal, Kids Around the World will be coming to University of Iowa and our brothers will be personally making and packing the meals that will be shipped out to kids in war and poverty stricken countries around the world. This event has been a tremendous success in the past, and we look forward to continuing this Beta-Rho tradition. We hope our brothers (Nathan Tilka, Brodie Malatt, Tom Maigaard, and Erik Roemer) enjoyed their opportunity to share their experiences and learn more about our brotherhood at the KΣ District Conclave in Kansas City. Safe travels back to Iowa City for the Super Bowl tomorrow, gentlemen!
