Voice Biomechanics & Acoustics Laboratory A vocal health lab rooted at the University of Iowa, with collaborative ties to Michigan State University.

Our primary research endeavors, focus on laryngeal physiology and biomechanics, acoustics, occupational voice, and vocal health. The Voice Biomechanics and Acoustics Laboratory objective is to better understand how the acoustics of voice and speech are governed from the perspective of biomechanics of the larynx and other speech systems.
