Gogebic Community College BOLD careers begin here! We offer more than 60 Associate Degree and Certificate programs.

Gogebic Community College (GCC) is a public two-year community college located in Ironwood, Michigan at the Western end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Currently, GCC has an enrollment of approximately 1,100 students and offers over 55 associate degrees and certificate programs geared to transfer to another college or allow graduates to enter directly into the workforce. GCC prides itself on small

class sizes with a student to faculty ratio of 15:1 and personal attention along with affordable tuition rates.

Re-introducing our very own Kari Klemme! Kari has been with the college since 2018 but has recently begun her new role as Business Faculty this semester. She has her associate degree in interior and commercial design from Fox Valley Technical College, a bachelor's degree in Integrative Leadership from UW-Green Bay, and master's degree in marketing from UW-Whitewater. Be sure to say hello and welcome Kari to our faculty team!

Senator Slokin stopped by GCC to spend some time with students, faculty, staff, and members of our Upper Peninsula community to discuss the experiences of our students and some of the challenges facing communities across the UP.

Having the chance to welcome an elected official to campus is a great opportunity to showcase what makes GCC and the communities we serve unique.
