A huge thank you to everyone who participated in Anchorsplash and helped up us raise over $11,000 for Service for Sight! We had a blast Doing Good with all of you! Shout out to our incredible director McKell Davis for putting together such an incredible event! Congratulations to all of our seniors that graduated today! A special congratulations to Arden Davis and Lauren Kerner who both were awarded the Chancellors Award of Distinction. The Chancellors Award of Distinction is given to the most outstanding graduates of the class of 2017, to students who exhibit a commitment to cutting-edge research, leadership or service to UCI. This spring the ladies of UCI Delta Gamma will be hosting our annual spring gala benefitting our philanthropy, Service for Sight. We are extremely grateful to share a cause so close to our hearts. Help support our philanthropy by purchasing a ticket to A Night For Sight on May 7th. The night will include dinner, silent auction, senior toasts, and a spectacular view of the Disneyland fireworks on the rooftop.Please consider donating to such a noble cause, which is so close to our heart. We will gladly accept any donations you are willing to give, from a silent auction item to a direct monetary donation. Our chapter has the privilege of doing hands-on work at the Blind Children’s Learning Center of Santa Ana, and therefore we are able to see the tremendous impact of all donations.

Happy Friday! We asked our director of funds Ashley Cohen what anchors her to Delta Gamma and she said:
What anchors me to DG are the genuine and motivated women who I get to surround myself with every day. I've made so many friendships with people who I probably never would have had the chance to meet if it weren't for DG and every new member class reminds me how lucky I am to have this growing support system that will be with me for the rest of my life. Whether it be an accounting class, working at Nekter, or cheering at a basketball game, I've always got DG's by my side.

Happy ! Today we will live out our ritual by sending notes of appreciation and love to our sista-friends! Here's what 2nd year Taylor Young has to say about her big, Jordyn Rodwell:
"Jordyn is the girl who lights up the room when she walks in with her beautiful curly hair, and her smile that seems to always be there even when she's talking about something sad. She inspires me every day with all she takes on, and encourages me to spread my wings and see how far I'll go too. She's not only my Big, but my best friend & the girl I know I can go to whether I'm crying, needing a study buddy, needing a good laugh, or just want someone to go get ice cream with. She's beautiful, she's smart, she's silly... she's an all around amazing person that I feel so lucky to know. Love you Biggie ❤"
