UCI Student Outreach and Retention (SOAR) Center The SOAR Center provides programming for current undergraduate students, student organizations, perspective students and the UCI Community.

The SOAR Center serves as an information hub and a bridge between students and the resources that contribute to their academic, personal, and social development and success. In addition, undergraduate student organizations receive advice and support to plan and implement their academic outreach and yield initiatives for first-generation, low-income and ethnic minority high school students. The SOA

R Center is equipped with computers and an information station, a lounge, and a multipurpose room. The lounge and the multipurpose room primarily function as a study space Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, curriculum preparation, course coordination, and travel with students to graduate schools. Availability required on Thursdays from 2-3:20 pm.
