UC Irvine scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement. Additionally, some scholarships are awarded with respect to financial need or other specific criteria such as city of residence, major or special skills. Academic achievements, leadership positions, campus or community activities, work experience and financial need, where indicated, are taken into account during the scholarship selection process.

*Student Aid Index greater than 15,000
*Must have leadership experience
*Must live on-campus first year

Incoming students, did you know that our campuswide scholarship application is short-answer response? Essays are not required for each question in our application. Our questions have a 3000 character limit besides our leadership question that does not have a limit. Make sure to answer all components of the question, provide examples if needed, and let your personality shine through your answers! Log in to uci.scholarshipuniverse.com to find scholarships you qualify for and apply by May 31st @ 11:59pm!

Barnes and Noble College (BNC) Scholarship’s goal is to build on Barnes’s and Noble founder, Len Riggo’s tireless advocacy for public education, literacy and the arts. This campuswide scholarship will be awarded to incoming UC Irvine Undergraduate students with a record of strong academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to helping others.
