We need your help!
During the month of March, The Office of Career Development invites all students (along with faculty and staff) to donate books to Reading Partners, a research-based reading intervention program that serves children in elementary school. A number of our alumni work for Reading Partners, and a current group of staff and students regularly volunteer as reading tutors.

All books will be given directly to students as incentives to master their comprehension skills, enabling these children to build their own libraries at home.

What can you do?
Bring new or very gently used books for readers at the Kindergarten to 4th-grade levels, keeping in mind that these children are struggling readers.
Or... You can take the guesswork out of it! Order from a wishlist of pre-selected (economical) titles, and have the books delivered to UD for donation at bit.ly/UDdonates. You may even have books shipped to campus during spring break, becasue we'll be here to receive them for the donation boxes!

Donation boxes are located in the SALC (Haggar), the Cowan-Blakely Memorial Library (Braniff), or OPCD (Augustine 132) through the month of March.

Please help us designate a space in our new building. It will serve as a tribute to the memory of our longtime professor and influential SIE adviser, Stan Kroder, along with SIE. Stan Kroder was an associate dean of online learning and associate professor in the University of Dallas College of Business for many years. He joined the faculty after a 29-year career with IBM and became the founder of UD's MBA program in telecommunications management.
