ENREEC welcomed two new methane-powered New Holland tractors yesterday donated by CNH Industrial that will support ongoing research, student learning and day-to-day farm operations at ENREEC and NFarms.
The tractors represent another step toward exploring practical, innovative technologies that can help shape the future of agriculture while keeping productivity at the forefront. Researchers, students and farm operations staff will use the equipment to study how alternative fuel technologies can fit into real-world ag systems while giving University of Nebraska–Lincoln students hands-on experience with emerging equipment and energy systems in agriculture.
