Beginning June 21, 2026, we'll feature alumni and their pets throughout the summer as they show off their MVSU pride and share what matters most to them—and their four-legged friends!

From Delta Devil to SWAC Leader: Ashley Robinson Named Texas Southern Athletics Director

Mississippi Valley State University proudly celebrates alumnus Ashley Robinson '02 on his appointment as Vice President and Director of Athletics at Texas Southern University.

A former Delta Devil standout and MVSU Athletics Hall of Famer, Robinson has built an impressive career in collegiate athletics leadership. From his days on the court at MVSU to serving in athletics administration and leading programs at the collegiate level, his career reflects the leadership, dedication and excellence that define the Delta Devil experience.

Robinson's latest appointment marks another milestone in a career that has included leadership roles across the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), including his most recent tenure as Vice President and Director of Athletics at Jackson State University.

The Office of Alumni Affairs congratulates Ashley Robinson on this outstanding achievement and wishes him continued success in his new role at Texas Southern University!
