✨ Class of 1976 – 50th Golden Anniversary Reunion Weekend ✨

What an unforgettable weekend celebrating 50 years of legacy, excellence, and Valley pride with the Mississippi Valley State University Class of 1976!

From May 7–9, 2026, classmates gathered for a powerful weekend filled with fellowship, reflection, laughter, and meaningful reconnections. It was truly special to witness lifelong bonds renewed and the Golden Class legacy honored in such a beautiful way.

A special thank you to everyone who helped plan, support, and make this celebration possible, and to all who traveled near and far to be part of this historic milestone.

We are also proud to share that the Class of 1976 raised $50,883 for the Golden Class Endowment—leaving a lasting impact that will benefit future generations of MVSU students. 💚💛

Toks Omishakin, a proud Mississippi Valley State University alumnus and current Secretary of the California State Transportation Agency, will deliver the keynote address for MVSU’s 74th Commencement Ceremony on May 9, 2026.

We’re also celebrating the Golden Class of 1976, with 60 members returning to campus for this special milestone!

Mississippi Valley State University is continuing to lead with innovation! 💚🤍

MVSU has officially been approved to launch a new graduate program, the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Biomedical and Environmental Health Systems (AIM-BEHS), beginning Fall 2026.

This groundbreaking program will prepare students to use AI to solve real-world challenges in healthcare, environmental systems, and beyond.
