The Finance Club once again competed in the annual TVA Investment Challenge and had an outstanding portfolio this year. In managing $500k for the Tennessee Valley Authority, our students beat the S&P 500 and placed 2nd overall out of 29 universities! Three team members along with Drs. Wang and Townsend attended the national conference in Nashville where our students presented their portfolio publicly. Congratulations to Jack-Henry Wise, Will Forrester, Caleb Keel, and Nathan Nuulimba on a job well done!

Do you know any motivated high schoolers who are interested in dipping their toes in business? Our Principles of Management course will be offered online as a dual enrollment course this summer! TN residents may be eligible to take it for FREE under the TN Dual Enrollment Grant.

The jump from high school to college can be a big one. Union's Rising Senior Program is designed to make that transition a little smoother and a lot more rewarding. 🎓

Running every June, the program gives outstanding students who have just completed their junior year the chance to earn up to 7 semester hours of real college credit. They will take core curriculum classes, live on campus and experience the academic excellence and Christian community that Union is known for.

Students leave better prepared, more confident and already connected to a community of peers who share their values. And as a bonus, they earn those credits at a fraction of normal tuition costs, with the opportunity to qualify for a $1,000/year scholarship if they enroll at Union as a freshman.

It is a summer well spent.

For the first time ever, Union students competed at the National Collegiate Business Championships in Nashville, Tennessee. Congratulations to Grace Hester, Isaac Hoover, Noah Mullis, and Dehlia Placie! Tomorrow Isaac & Noah will advance to the final round--let's go! A big shout-out to Dr. April Rowsey, too, for guiding our emerging business leaders.
