Led by Associate Professor of Anthropology Véronique Bélisle, participants spent the summer conducting archaeological surveys in the Andes, often hiking more than 4,200 meters above sea level to locate and document archaeological sites. Based in Sangarara and working alongside Peruvian archaeologists and students from other institutions, they combined research, cultural immersion and adventure in one unforgettable experience.
